This rare white salt is made in Perugia, Italy, from fine Guerande sea salt and flakes of the elusive truffle. The rich, earthy flavor of truffles makes even simple scrambled eggs and French fries gourmet. A very upscale classic hotel in Chicago even serves their popcorn popped in truffle oil and salted with truffle salt that is really delicious. This white truffle salt is intensely aromatic - a tiny pinch is enough to flavor your dish. Use sparingly with egg and vegetable dishes, potatoes, risotto, soup, poultry, or on charcuterie cheeses. Ingredients: French sea salt, white truffle pieces, truffle flavoring.

The Spice House's White Truffle Salt absolutely elevates any food upon which I put it. I especially love it on something as mundane as popcorn. OMG! Popcorn popped in real butter and sprinkled with white truffle salt is the MOST INCREDIBLE snack. It is also fabulous on cooked pasta slathered with extra virgin olive oil with a sprinkling of parmigiano Reggiano and truffle salt. YUM!!! Thanks to the Spice House for selling this wonderful salt. One of my favorite add-ons.

Absolutely love this particular truffle salt. I’ve tried other brands and this by far has the distinct flavor of truffle. Pricey, but worth it. A little goes a long way.
